Two shops about a mile apart west of downtown, Village Needleworks on Shamrock Road and Personal Threads Boutique on Cass Street.
Omaha has two needlepoint shops we can confirm, about a mile apart, both about six miles west of downtown. Village Needleworks is on Shamrock Road, and Personal Threads Boutique is on Cass Street.
They are different kinds of shop. Village Needleworks is a needlepoint shop; Personal Threads Boutique sells knitting and quilting supplies alongside needlepoint.

A needlepoint shop in Countryside Village, owned by Mary de Souza since 2007 and in its own words all about needlepoint, with canvases by designer, fibers, books, accessories, and finishing.
Some listings give 8709 Shamrock Road; the shop's own site gives 8721. Closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Opened in 1993 as a sister shop to the Lewis Art Gallery, which shares its building, for knitting, needlepoint, and quilting, with needlepoint canvases, threads, and supplies, and classes.
A combined knitting, needlepoint, and quilting shop rather than a needlepoint-only one; in its own words, knitters have made it a destination. Open six days a week.
Which one to go to
For finishing, go to Village Needleworks.
On a Monday, go to Personal Threads Boutique, the one of the two open that day.
For a late afternoon, Personal Threads Boutique stays open until 6pm on weekdays; Village Needleworks closes at 3pm.
Before you go
- Neither opens on a Sunday.
