In its own words a needlepoint and specialty yarn store, with hand-painted needlepoint canvases and threads alongside the yarn, trading for about thirty years and owned by Leslie Branch since 2018. It kits threads for a canvas, and offers private and group needlepoint lessons, finishing, and three work tables to stitch at.
A combined knitting and needlepoint shop rather than a needlepoint-only one. It started on Wrightsville Avenue and has been on Oleander Drive since November 2020.
The hours are the thing to plan around
The shop opens Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 4pm, and on Saturdays from 10am to 2pm, and there is no late day for an after-work visit. It publishes no Sunday or Monday hours.

Not one we have been able to confirm. Yarns of Wilmington is about three miles from the middle of Wrightsville Beach and about twenty-one miles northeast of the middle of Southport. If you know one, tell us and we will check it.
