Cincinnati's two needlepoint shops are on the east side, about three miles apart. Absolutely Needlepoint is on Miami Avenue, about ten miles northeast of downtown, and Jackie O's has moved to Oak Street in Mariemont.
Only one of them opens early in the week, so the day you go decides a lot.

Which one to go to
On a Monday or a Tuesday, Absolutely Needlepoint is the only one open. For a late afternoon, Jackie O's stays open until 6pm Wednesday to Friday. On a Saturday morning both are open, and three miles apart they make one trip.
If you are just starting, Jackie O's sells beginner-friendly kits and gives lessons. Absolutely Needlepoint also carries books and accessories, and holds trunk shows.
