Needlepoint Shops on Cape Cod and the Islands
Two shops on the Cape, both in Mashpee, and two on the islands, in Nantucket and Edgartown.
Cape Cod and the islands have four needlepoint shops we can confirm. Two are in Mashpee, under three miles apart: Osterville Needlepoint Shop on Trinity Place and Needlepoint Obsession on Route 151. The other two are Erica Wilson's shops, on Main Street in Nantucket and on Kelly Street in Edgartown, on Martha's Vineyard.
Osterville Needlepoint Shop gives its hours as summer hours, and neither island shop publishes hours at all, so call ahead, and do it before you book a ferry.

Walls of fibers and hand-painted canvases, its own Erica Wilson designs, island ones among them, weekly Sip N' Stitch classes, and clothing and gifts alongside the needlepoint.

On a Sunday or a Monday, Osterville Needlepoint Shop is the one on the Cape with hours for those days, in summer. Needlepoint Obsession is closed on both.
For free open stitching, Osterville Needlepoint Shop holds it all day on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
For a canvas of the islands, the Erica Wilson shops, which carry island designs of their own.

Is there a needlepoint shop in Hyannis, Chatham, or Falmouth?
Not in those towns that we have been able to confirm. From Hyannis, Osterville Needlepoint Shop in Mashpee is about nine and a half miles west. From the middle of Falmouth, Needlepoint Obsession is about six and a half miles northeast. From the middle of Chatham, Osterville Needlepoint Shop is about twenty-six miles west.
Are the two Erica Wilson shops one business?
Yes. The Nantucket shop on Main Street is the flagship, and the Edgartown shop opened in June 2024. They share one website but have separate phone numbers.
Do the island shops ship?
Erica Wilson sells online as well as in its shops, and its site says orders ship from the islands.
