The Charlotte area has two needlepoint shops we can confirm, about twenty miles apart. Po's Point is on East Woodlawn Road, about four miles south of uptown, and Two's Company Needlepoint is in Rock Hill, South Carolina, about twenty-three miles southwest.
Both are open from Tuesday to Saturday, so the choice mostly comes down to where you start from.

A needlepoint shop with hand-painted canvases, a collection it calls unmatched in Charlotte, and threads and accessories from a long list of brands, plus classes, events, and custom canvases.
Its site gives the suite as 265 on one page and 287 on another, so check the building directory when you arrive. Some retailer lists still show its old address on East Boulevard.

Run by Michelle Hamilton, a lifelong stitcher who learned from her grandmother, and in its own words the Charlotte area's leading full-service needlepoint shop, with canvases and accessories, classes and retreats, and finishing.
There is a stitching table to settle in at. Closed on Sundays and Mondays.
Which one to go to
On a Saturday morning, Two's Company opens first, at 10am. Po's Point opens at 11am on every day it is open.
For a custom canvas, go to Po's Point. For a retreat, or a piece to be finished, go to Two's Company.
