It carries canvases, an NPN Exclusive Collection and a group of Up North designs among them, with threads, tools, and self-finishing pieces, and holds classes from beginner needlepoint to finishing.

The shop opens from Tuesday to Saturday. Its stitch club keeps to Monday mornings instead, and meets downtown at the Park Place Hotel rather than in the shop.

Not one we have been able to confirm. The NeedlePoints North is about sixteen miles south of the middle of Suttons Bay, about forty-two miles southwest of the middle of Charlevoix, and about fifty-one miles southwest of the middle of Petoskey.

Does Lost Art Yarn Shoppe sell needlepoint?

Not by its own site. Lost Art is a yarn shop at 733 Woodmere Avenue, and its site lists supplies for knitting, crochet, punch needle, needle felting, and cross stitch, but not needlepoint, although some listings still call it Lost Art Yarn and Needlepoint Shoppe.

Can I learn here as a beginner?

Yes. When we checked in September 2026, The NeedlePoints North said it had just finished a summer of beginner needlepoint classes and would announce new ones by email. It also sells beginner kits, and groups of any skill level can book a private class.
