Two shops about twenty-two miles apart, Savannah Needlepoint on Ferguson Avenue in Savannah and Needlepoint Junction on Hilton Head Island.
Savannah and Hilton Head have one needlepoint shop each that we can confirm, about twenty-two miles apart in a straight line and on either side of the state line. Savannah Needlepoint is on Ferguson Avenue, about seven miles south of downtown Savannah, and Needlepoint Junction is in the Village at Wexford on Hilton Head Island.
One is new and one is not. Savannah Needlepoint opened in 2024, and Needlepoint Junction has been trading for almost forty years.

A needlepoint shop opened in 2024 by Suzanne Smallwood, who wanted to build a needlepoint community in Savannah, with canvases, accessories, and classes, from a beginner class to ornament finishing.
Open until 6pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Closed on Sundays and Mondays.

A needlepoint shop in the Village at Wexford, trading for almost forty years and owned by Michele since April 2014, with canvases, among them Hilton Head designs made for the shop, threads, and some cross stitch and yarn, plus classes in the shop and online, and clubs.
Its site gives the Saturday closing time as 2pm in one place and 3pm in another, so call before a Saturday afternoon visit. Closed on Sundays; the shop will make an appointment outside its hours if you email.
Which one to go to
On a Monday, go to Needlepoint Junction, the one of the two open that day. It opens at 9:30am on weekdays.
For a later visit, Savannah Needlepoint stays open until 6pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
For a Hilton Head canvas, Needlepoint Junction sells lighthouse designs made for the shop.

- Neither opens on a Sunday.
- Call Needlepoint Junction before a Saturday afternoon visit. Its site gives two closing times for Saturday, 2pm and 3pm.
