Three shops: The Stitching Belle and Nashville Needleworks, about eight miles apart in Nashville and Brentwood, and The Stitch Shop in downtown Clarksville, about forty-one miles northwest.

We can confirm three needlepoint shops around Nashville. The Stitching Belle is on Nebraska Avenue, about three miles southwest of downtown, and Nashville Needleworks is on Church Street East in Brentwood, about nine and a half miles south; the two are about eight miles apart. The Stitch Shop is on Franklin Street in downtown Clarksville, about forty-one miles northwest.

Their weeks differ. The Stitching Belle stays open until 8pm on Tuesdays and Fridays and opens on Sunday afternoons, Nashville Needleworks is the one open on Mondays, and The Stitch Shop opens four days a week, two of them in the evening only.

On a Sunday, go to The Stitching Belle, from noon to 4pm, or in Clarksville to The Stitch Shop, at the same hours. Nashville Needleworks is closed.

After work, The Stitching Belle, until 8pm on Tuesdays and Fridays, or in Clarksville The Stitch Shop, from 4pm to 8pm on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Kick Ass Needlepoint is a Nashville needlepoint business with an online shop. It holds its classes at 850 Hillwood Boulevard, Suite 6, and its site has a page for a Nashville store. We have not listed it because its site publishes no opening hours and, when we checked in September 2026, no phone number either.

No. The Stitching Belle is the nearest, about three miles southwest of downtown, and Nashville Needleworks is about nine and a half miles south, in Brentwood.

Is there a shop in Franklin or Murfreesboro?

Not one we have been able to confirm. Nashville Needleworks is the nearest of the three to both, about nine miles from the middle of Franklin and about twenty-four from the middle of Murfreesboro.

Is there one in Clarksville?

Yes. The Stitch Shop is on Franklin Street in downtown Clarksville, about forty miles northwest of The Stitching Belle.

Which of them do finishing?

Nashville Needleworks does, from ornaments and stand-ups to pillows and stockings, and takes work by mail as well as in the shop. It also does custom framing. The Stitching Belle's and The Stitch Shop's sites do not mention finishing, so ask at either. Our finishing guide covers what to ask.

Can I learn here as a beginner?

Yes. The Stitching Belle runs Needlepoint 101 and 102, and The Stitch Shop welcomes stitchers picking up their first canvas. Nashville Needleworks lists a half-day beginning class for stitchers with a little experience, but had not published its dates when we checked in September 2026.
